Vision over fear

Day 25

Fear can cripple us. It can keep us from God’s best for us. Often God calls us to things that are scary to us but are nothing for Him. Steven Furtick in his book, “Greater” says, “If the size of your vision for your life isn't intimidating to you there's a good chance it's insulting to God.” Mark Batterson, whom we’ve read quotes from previously, says it very similarly in regards to our prayers and how we need to be praying “boldly.”

If we take into consideration the “size” of our vision and the framework it takes to really be a “Church for unchurched people,” it should be a bit intimidating for us!

2 Timothy 1:7 "For God has not given us a spirit of fear and timidity, but of power, love, and self-discipline.”

Pray that our fear would flee from our thought life as we move forward in the strength from God. 

And Pray for God to do amazing works because our vision is so big, that God needs to show up in order for us to reach Washington County!
